Founded by Captain Gerry K. Robertson, (formerly Bay and Delta Charters), Empress Events has remained a family-owned and operated luxury yacht charter group. Captain Gerry noticed the strong demand for yacht charters in the famous San Francisco Bay and knew following his passion by starting this fleet would be a great way to spend time on the water with family, friends and friends-to-be. Gerry: Native San Franciscan, Captain Robertson has been sailing the Bay and Pacific West Coast since the young age of 5!
He relishes the chance to explain the bells and whistles up in the Wheelhouse. He has over 20 years of yacht charter experience alone.

Jared: A native of Maine who discovered his passion for food while living in Europe (Germany, Belgium and France) in his early teen years then moved to the southwest. Chef Seaton began his culinary career at the age of 16 as a line cook at the OutSideInn in Sierra Vista, Arizona, by the time he left for Arizona State University he had risen to Sous Chef, upon completion of his degree in food science he transferred over to Scottsdale Culinary Institute to further his culinary education and worked in a number of different resorts around the Scottsdale area like Hotel Valley Ho and the Windom. In 2005 he moved to the bay area where he worked for UCSF Moffit Long catering, catering to events for the staff and students. He began working with Empress Events in March of 2007 where he has remained the Executive Chef overseeing an excellent culinary team to meet your needs. He is also part of the ITK Culinary team who bring cooking classes of all degrees to the public.
